One of the social media that is currently used by many people is Facebook or commonly called FB. However, despite facebook users constantly increasing, there are still some people who do not understand about how to create a Facebook account (FB).


To have a Facebook account will not be charged or free. Ok, for those of you who do not know how to create a Facebook account, the following is an easy way to sign up on Facebook. Oh yes, you have to have an email account before signing up on Facebook. I. How to Create a Facebook Account

1. open the Facebook site, please click this link Facebook.com.

2. Fill in the fields that have been provided with the data yourself. Put your first name in the first box and your last name in the second box. Next enter a valid email address and re-enter that email in the box below. Next, Enter the password you want (easy to remember), your birthday and your sex. Then click on the button "Register" at the bottom

3. Then, a new page will appear where you are asked to confirm the email address used to register.

You must now login to your email. Open the confirmation email from Facebook, click on the link it provides and it will take you to you new Facebook profile.

4. The next page will appear where you are asked to fill out additional information.

• Step 1: Search for a friend who is in your email list who already have a Facebook account

• Step 2: Fill out the name of the your High school, hometown, current city, college/university and employer

• Step 3: Uploading your photo or avatar

II. How to Make Basic Settings On Facebook Account

After successfully have a Facebook account, the next step is to make the basic settings to your liking. Among them is to add a cover picture, complete bio, and others. The purpose of doing this basic setting in order your friends can find you on facebook.

1. Add a Cover Picture: The first step go to the main page of your Facebook profile by clicking the link in your name at the top right.

Click Add a Cover and then choose whether you want to upload a new photo or pick a photo from one of your existing photo albums once you choose a photo, you can reposition it by clicking on the image and dragging it up or down and then click Save. 

2. General Account Settings. On this page we can rename or add a middle name, change the email, change the password, and change the language.

3. Privacy Setting. On this page we can control who can view our Facebook account, who can send messages, and others. 

The important thing to remember is to maintain the security of your Facebook account, do not give password of your facebook account to others, so that not hijacked by other people and used for things that are not good.
